Care & Maintenance:

New bedding may have a slight odor from material used in package and shipping. Once your mattress is unpacked and setup the odor should dissipate in fresh air.

Today's Mattress:

Your new Imperial Mattress is safer and more comfortable than ever. Advances in layering, quilting, upholstery and innerspring technology have made Imperial an elite competitor in the market of super premium bedding.

Body Impression:

To achieve the level of comfort required in today's super premium sleep sets, many additional layers of very delicate foam and fibers have been added. These layers will settle conforming to your body. These body impressions are normal and are to be expected. Body impression up to 1 ½ inches are considered normal by industry standards.
Imperial's superior two sided design gives you twice the sleeping surface and the ability to turn your mattress to the other side that is fresh and brand new. This will give the first side time to expand and refresh extending the comfort life of your Imperial Sleep Set.

Sagging:

Imperial's full and queen size bedding MUST be used with a frame that has a center support leg that makes contact with the floor. This also applies to beds that come with wooden slats. (See page 30 for more center support info)
Bending:

When relocating your mattress, try to minimize any bending. Bends over 10 degrees can damage the innerspring unit, inner layer and upholstery. Any damage caused by bending is not covered in the warranty. Moving a mattress safely requires two people.
Jumping:

Don't allow children or adults to jump or stand on the mattress. A mattress is not designed for this type of activity and can be damaged or result in injury or death.
